Tansen, Palpa — Nepal

Sheetal Farm

A brick-and-timber farm stay in the hills above Tansen, where dinner comes with a view of the valley and the fog rolls in before breakfast.

Welcome

Sheetal Farm sits on a ridge in the Tansen region of Palpa, a working farm turned resort built for slow mornings and long dinners. The cottages are brick and timber, the garden runs to roses and prayer flags, and a short walk up the hill gets you a bench looking straight down into the valley. We cook the way the farm feeds itself — khaja sets, sukuti, dhido, and whatever came off the fire that day — and keep the rest simple: good tea, good company, and enough quiet to hear the hills.
